Oddizzi is a fantastic learning tool for PYP students. It can be used 
independently or with teacher guidance, to explore the planet.

Fitting in perfectly with social studies, with a particular focus on geographical enquiry, Oddizzi shares a wealth of knowledge through multi-media content. The site includes videos and photos, as well as facts and descriptions written by professional travel-writers. The interactive world map, meanwhile, shows global positioning and related content.

‘Country Close-Ups’, ‘Weather and Climate’ and ‘Global Knowledge’ are just 
a few of the areas of curated content, which can be used in enquiries across 
all six transdisciplinary themes.

The resource is highly flexible: students can access what they need, when they need it, with opportunities at each step for them to extend their knowledge and understanding. The versatile nature of the navigation allows for creativity of use and fuels students’ natural curiosity.

ClassPals allows multiple communications with students and teachers across the world, in a variety of languages, and encourages co-operation and cultural understanding. The user-led nature of ClassPals promotes international-mindedness, enabling schools to link up for specific Units of Inquiry or for collaboration on a more ad-hoc basis when preferred.

Through its flexibility, Oddizzi encourages children to be inquirers whilst providing a firm base of knowledge to support teachers and students alike.
